Inside our print production: UV-stable inks and certified installs

Why we run production through a vetted network of trusted print suppliers, and what that control means for how a skirt looks in year three.

Large-format printing production in progress

A skirt graphic is only as good as it looks in its third year on the road. Sun, salt, pressure washes, and ten thousand miles a month are brutal on cheap print work, which is why we decided early that production would run through a small bench of vetted, trusted suppliers we manage directly instead of whoever was cheapest that quarter.

What managed production buys

  • Full-color large-format printing on cast vinyl, run under our own quality control
  • UV-stable inks so artwork holds its color through years of direct sun
  • Lamination matched to the panel and the route it will ride
  • One accountable point of contact from proof to print, with supplier performance we track and enforce

Certified hands on every install

Print quality dies at the install if the hands are not skilled. Every installer who touches the fleet has passed proficiency certification covering the hard parts of vinyl work, the complex curves, rivets, and seams where amateur installs bubble and peel. It is the difference between a skirt that looks sharp at highway speed and one that looks tired by spring.

When we say production is included, this is what we mean. Your artwork goes onto the trailer the way it left the proof, and it stays that way.
